From the staff of Deerassic Park, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our supporters over the past 24 years. It is exciting looking back on how much we have grown, especially in the past few years. We are now in the final stages of completing the new Education Complex and Welcome Center to open to the public. We are expecting to open the Welcome Center in the spring of 2021. We also would love to convert our past Education Center into the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame. Every year we receive multiple requests for additional giveaways to be held throughout the year. We feel that this is the perfect time to try out a new giveaway. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the Deerassic Park Education Center took a more significant than expected loss and had to cut the renovation budget for the Whitetail Hall of Fame. The Winter Giveaway aims to provide funding to complete the final stages of the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame and open it to the public in the spring of 2021. The Deerassic Park’s Winter Giveaway will be held virtually on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 6 pm. It will be live-streamed on deerassic.com and on our Facebook page. Tickets will go on sale beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2020, and end Sunday, November 29, 2020.
