Last year was our first year for the Annual Deerassic Park Winter Giveaway and it was a huge success so we decided to have it again this Winter. We were able to reach our goal and we are finalizing the renovation for the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame. We really hope all of our supporters and their families can come down when we open up and can see what they helped build. Another goal for the Deerassic Park Education Center is to build a seasonal campground for families to come down and enjoy. This facility will have approximately 50 water/ electric hook up sites as well as shower facilities, a store, and a recreation pond for families to swim and enjoy. This year’s 2021 Deerassic Park Winter Giveaway will be raising money for the installation of these camping sites. Our goal is to be fully operational by the Spring of 2023 with your help. The Deerassic Park Campground will allow families to come down and enjoy the full experience of Deerassic Park. The Deerassic Park’s Winter Giveaway will be held again virtually on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 5pm. It will be live-streamed on deerassic.com and on our Deerassic Park YouTube Channel. Tickets will go on sale beginning Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Remember these tickets sold out last year within a month. After listening to feedback from our supporters we decided to draw our winners lottery style (with ping pong balls) this year. Also, we will be mixing up the numbers for our ticket buyers so if you purchase more than one ticket the tickets will not be consecutive like last year.
