Another week, another sold out camp here at Deerassic! Survival Camp was a huge success with the 12-15 year olds last week as we teach all the basic survival skills, yet do it in a fun and non-serious way. Campers learned through trial and error what worked andddd of course what didn’t when it came to building fires, shelters, small game traps, how to look for wild edibles and navigate, and fish and hunt with limited tackle. Of course we also had to throw the extra fun in with Survival Dodgeball, Survival Kickball, and the camper favorite – Cardboard Boat Experiment.
